Domestic Abuse Intervention Services
Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, located in Madison, Wisc., offers a 24-hour crisis line, a safe house for women and their children, legal advocacy, support groups, information and referrals.

LoveIsRespect
Loveisrespect’s purpose is to engage, educate and empower young people to prevent and end abusive relationships. Highly-trained advocates offer support to young people who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships. They also provide support to concerned friends and family, teachers, counselors, service providers and law enforcement. Free and confidential phone, live chat and text support is available 24/7/365.

National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC)
NCPC is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to enable people to create safer and more caring communities by addressing the causes of crime and violence and reducing the opportunities for crime to occur. NCPC publishes books, program materials, posters, and reports on crime prevention and community-building.

National Domestic Violence Hotline
Operating 24/7, free and confidential and free of cost, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides lifesaving tools and immediate support to enable victims to find safety and live lives free of abuse. The hotline offers highly trained, experienced advocates, compassionate support, crisis intervention information and referral services in more than 200 languages. The website has information about domestic violence, safety planning, local resources and ways to support the organization.

Casa de Esperanza
Casa de Esperanza is a leader in the domestic violence movement and a national resource center for organizations working with Latin@s in the United States. Casa de Esperanza’s mission is to mobilize Latinas and Latin@ communities to end domestic violence.

Relationships and Safety
At least one in four women in the United States experiences violence from an intimate partner. Intimate partner violence includes domestic abuse, sexual assault, verbal and emotional abuse, coercion, and stalking. National Parent Helpline
Being a parent is a critically important job, but it’s not always easy. Call the National Parent Helpline to get emotional support from a trained advocate and become empowered and a stronger parent.

Parents Anonymous
Parents Anonymous is the the nation’s oldest child abuse prevention organization, dedicated to strengthening families and building caring communities that support safe and nurturing homes for all children. Parents Anonymous leads an international network of accredited organizations and local affiliates that implement programs for adults and children.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)
RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. It operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country. RAINN also offers programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

StopBullying.gov
When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time. Parents and other adults can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.
