I thank NASW for the opportunity to learn about other African American Social Workers. I would like to encourage more African American Social Workers to go into private practice. Many African American men have shared with me their low comfort level with Non African American therapists. African Americans going into private practice is just one approach toward addressing the disparities in health care.
